Woohoo! Against all odds, the New York Giants just won the Super Bowl. With that, and the Mets having signed star pitcher Johan Santana this week, the Perkins family is officially in sports heaven. Pictured above is the crew at our Super Bowl party right after the Giants scored in the first quarter. Now we all need to settle down and get some sleep (as if).

Now I know who one. I guess you are the lucky people there, having your team come out front. Looks like you were having a good time. Congrats on your team winning.

Glad your team one. I think I'm the only person in American not at all interested in the Super Bowl. But now that I know the Giants won I know it's safe to talk to the rest of my family today. lol

Happy Monday

What is that you all are eating?
I must confess that the Super Bowl was on at our house as well, even though we are not usually sports watchers. I always cheer for the underdogs, no matter who it is...
Oh, and I like P's pajamas...

You saw my excitement on the other post - I read these out of order (darned Google Reader). It was a great game and it sure looks like a happy family!

LOVE the picture. This was the first super bowl I've ever watched. (I grew up in a home where watching football on Sunday was right up there with adultery on the sin-scale.) it was SUCH fun!!! Brian and I were rooting for the Giants, though we never ever thought they'd win. Wooohooo!

Anj, I made layered bean dip (that's what that nearly empty 9x13" Pyrex pan was) and yellow cupcakes with chocolate frosting. Christian requested double stuffed Oreos (gag me, but I honored his wish), and we had these yummy Italian sodas from Tarzhay: Strawberry Pomegranate, Blood Orange, and Peach Pear.
