I listened to all 17 minutes...beautiful piece. It made me miss playing in a symphony. I particularly enjoyed the viola solo (soft spot for my instrument)
What a lovely remembrance. And such a beautiful piece. I realized as it began I "knew" this piece--just hadn't known the name of it, but heard it as "background" for a movie piece. I have enjoyed hearing it again, and have equally enjoyed your heart-felt memory.
Perhaps this is what Elizabeth Bennett may have listened to on her five mile walk through the countryside to visit her sick sister Jane at Mr. Bingley's rented estate..sweeping views, grand valleys, lovely greenness and whispering winds....aaah... My children were listening as well during their lessons and kept staring off into space with dream-clouded eyes...

Our high speed internet is not tonight. I like classical music sometimes and enjoyed the first bit...but alas...one day we will have good service.
I am with Sirdar. Perhaps I will get a chance to come back to it. I do like classical music as well, but I am not really well versed in it.

What a treat that you got your Williams and an old friend too.
I did listen to all 17 minutes, by the way...
Just lovely.
My two year old made it to 14:41 and then left in search of more adventure while I finished it.
That was amazing. My new goal in life is to hear that piece live.
