I swear I've done this one, but after twenty minutes of looking for it I don't see it. So, come to my blog later today and find out so many things about me your head will spin!!
and I want your recipe for confetti salad. if a SALAD is going to make your favorite snack list it must be amazing!
I rank meme's in almost the same category as clowns. I do Thursday thirteen and that is about all I commit to. I have been tagged before, and will sometimes do it in a comment. For this one, I really couldn't say what movies I like or my favourite TV shows, but I can tell you 4 jobs I have had:
Tour guide in a food packaging plant
Cook for a concession/sports lounge
Production Lab technician in a dairy production plant
Teaching assistant in university food microbiology lab.
4 places I have lived-- west of Edmonton, west of Edmonton, East of Edmonton and Lansing Michigan for a year while attending boarding school.
I can't even think what my favourite foods would be as they change with the seasons. I do have a couple recipes on my post today, and will try to get to the blondies one soon, then will let you know it is up.
Dawn--yikes! I know how you feel about clowns, so I apologize. Can't wait to see your recipes today!
Haha. This was fun to read through. And I honestly sighed OUT LOUD over the four movies you listed!!!
It was freaking at the beginning of this -- well you'll understand when you read my posts -- I though you were going to continue with the job thing.
You lived in Truckee??? How funny!
Love Firefly! (And know so few people who have even heard of it.)
Cutting Edge and Affair to Remember (naturally, the original version) are also favorites of mine.
At this point I could cue the Twlight Zone theme, but I'm getting used to discovering more kindred spiritness over here. :)
parlez vous Olympics!
You do know about the available-soon Serenity Collector's Edition, yes?
Butterfield Library sounds delicious. As do chocolate chip scones, which me and my friends have been baking like crazy since chancing upon a friend's quite fool proof recipe.
Josi--There's a link to the recipe in the post, and it is AMAZING.
Brillig--I KNOW. I wish we could have a video party.
RJ--Yup, lived there for two whole years. I know: bizarre. You have no idea.
Annette--Doo doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo....
P--Mais oui! Allons-nous regarder encore le film!
RaJ--I hadn't heard. This is why I count on your always timely updates. Thanks--can't wait!
Syar--share the recipe, share!
Not sure how I missed it my first time with this post, but the 1979 vintage of The Lathe Of Heaven is one of my all-time favorites. Definitely an exception to the typical good book, bad movie rule.
Good to know you'll "get it" when I use Antwerp! as a vote choice in a future poll. Hmm... should I put Antwerp and Belgium, France in the same poll? That might be too twisted even for me.
Speaking of Ms. LeGuin, have you read The Beginning Place?
I think I did this meme when I first started blogging, but I will come up with something new soon.
RaJ, I will be seething with secret giggles if Antwerp! appears in the Poll Toy. Love it.
I haven't read The Beginning Place, though I have read much else that she has written. I'll put it on my library list. Thanks!
VM--Thanks! Can't wait.
